NT expands service

KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom has expanded its microwave radio link to all 75 districts of the country. Prior to this, headquarters of Mugu, Humla and Dolpa districts of Karnali zone were connected through satellite service, according to a media release issued on Monday. With the expansion of the microwave radio link, Nepal Telecom subscribers will be able to enjoy improved connectivity in landline, GSM, CDMA, ADSL and EVDO internet services. The move has also paved the way for the company to expand its 3G and WiMAX services in the region.
