NT sets up ICT centres
KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom (NT) has set up Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Centre in various community schools of six earthquake-affected districts.
NT has provided ICT products like computer, printer and has given 30GB data free of cost to such centres for two years, according to a press statement issued by NT on Monday.
Such ICT centres have been established in Sarada Secondary School of Bhojpur, Ratna Chundeswori Secondary School of Banepa, Sagarmatha Secondary School of Okhaldhunga, Kanyadevi School of Nuwakot and Setidevi Secondary School of Ramechhap. As per NT, the company is also in the final stage of establishing such ICT centre in Solukhumbu.
