NTB video promotion

KATHMANDU: Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has been conducting promotional activities through various tools and means to update media and consumers about the latest happenings in the field of tourism in Nepal.

One of the medium that NTB has adopted to disseminate its message is through digital media as video campaigns are the most effective means of communication for promotion and development of tourism.

In this context, NTB has made some video campaigns for destination promotion like ‘Destination Kirtipur’ and ‘Destination Mustang’ to name a few.

Similarly, videos for the promotion of cultural festivities such as ‘Holi’ and ‘Shivaratri’ have also been made. NTB uses its official ‘YouTube’ channels to broadcast its videos. It recently organised a photo contest on the theme ‘Winter in Nepal’. NTB has also announced a short video contest and interested videographers can submit their videos in any format but not exceeding seven minutes.
