KATHMANDU: The total turnover in Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) hit an all-time high on Tuesday.

Before it closed in the afternoon, the domestic stock market witnessed trades on 37,51,635 shares through 7,065 transactions, which led to the total turnover of around Rs 2.2 billion.

Nepse index opened at 1609.70 points and went past 1619 at one point of time. It closed it 1613.15.
