He has further supported ESG and Environmental and Social Risk Management capacity-building programmes backed by international institutions such as IFC, FMO and Invest for Impact Nepal.
Shivanth Pande, CEO of NIBL Equity Partners, said Poudyal's expertise in sustainable and values-based banking would provide critical guidance as the firm enhances governance frameworks and advances innovation within Nepal's banking and private equity landscape.
In response, Poudyal said Nepal's private equity ecosystem is at a pivotal stage and expressed commitment to supporting NIBL's next phase of growth. He noted that he looks forward to collaborating with the Board and management to promote a resilient and inclusive private equity environment in the country.
Poudyal currently serves as the Asia Pacific Regional Representative of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV) and chairs the Advisory Committee for the Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Business Management at the School of Management, Tribhuvan University.
