KATHMANDU: Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Investment Bank Ltd (NIBL) Jyoti Prakash Pandey and Chairman of UnionPay International Co Ltd Cai Jianbo have announced NIBL-UnionPay Card and products will be launched in the Nepali market soon.

Targeting its customers visiting China for business or leisure, NIBL plans to launch debit, credit, prepaid travel cards and QR codes, as per a media release.

It is reported that NIBL-UnionPay cardholders will be able to easily withdraw cash with NIBL-UnionPay Cards and also use these cards for shopping, payments at hotels, restaurants, etcetera all over the world.

NIBL’s CEO Pandey informed that the NIBL-UnionPay International collaboration was initiated focusing on the Visit Nepal Year 2020 campaign.
