KATHMANDU: The Central Zoo has established the Field Marshall Sir John Chapple Education Centre at its premises with the support of Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIBL).

The centre was inaugurated by Shakti Bahadur Basnet, minister for forest and environment and chairman of the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC). British Ambassador to Nepal Richard Morris and NIBL CEO Jyoti Prakash Pandey were also present on the occasion.

The main objective of the project is to disseminate conservation message to a broader audience, says a statement issued on Wednesday.

NIBL has collaborated with the NTNC to establish an educational audio-visual centre in the Central Zoo.
