NIC ASIA Bank and Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) have signed an agreement allowing tourists using the Alipay+ network to directly pay at NepalPay QR merchants in Nepal.

Under this agreement, visitors from over 11 countries connected to Alipay+ - including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Mongolia, Thailand, South Korea, Italy, Macau, and Germany - can now use their home country's wallet or banking app to pay directly at NepalPay QR-supported merchants affiliated with NIC ASIA Bank during their stay in Nepal.

The agreement was signed by Jayendra Rawal, Assistant Chief Executive Officer of NIC ASIA Bank, and Nilesh Man Singh Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer of NCHL.
