KATHMANDU: NIC Asia Bank has initiated inward remittance service from Japan in partnership with OK Remit Japan.

As per the agreement with OK Remit Japan, Nepalis residing in Japan can remit funds to their relatives or others in Nepal through OK Remit, which can be received from any of the bank’s 301 branches, 70 extension counters and 41 branchless banking units spread across the country.

Moreover, on the occasion of upcoming festive season, clients can transfer funds through OK Remit Japan for free till mid-October, as per a media release. The bank has recently inaugurated two new branches at Bajhapatan, Pokhara and Powerhouse Chowk, Birgunj.
