KATHMANDU: NIC Asia Bank has introduced ‘Premium Samunnati Bachat Khata’.

The savings account features special facilities that include no withdrawal fees while drawing any amount of money from ATM of any bank, as per a media release. The account holders will be provided free debit/credit card, mobile banking service, demat account and 50 per cent discount on locker facility.

Additionally, clients who maintain monthly average balance of over Rs one million will be able to enjoy home banking service. Clients who take mobile banking service will be able to top up balance of Rs 100 in NTC or Ncell for free. The account, which can be opened with minimum balance of Rs 1,000, will generate annual interest of eight per cent and account holder will even be provided free accidental insurance worth Rs 500,000.

Also, such account holders will be able to issue ‘good for payment’ cheques and take balance certificate for no additional charge.
