KATHMANDU: NIC Asia Bank Ltd has reported an increase in its net profit by 36 per cent in its second-quarter report for the fiscal year 2022-23.
The bank's net profit has increased to Rs 3.27 billion as of the second quarter of the current fiscal, as per a media release.
The bank's deposits increased by 5.50 per cent to Rs 305 billion whereas its loans and advances to customers rose by 1.75 per cent to Rs 256 billion as of the second quarter, that is till mid-January.
The net interest income of the bank jumped 20.11 per cent to Rs 6.29 billion compared to the corresponding quarter of previous year.
