KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 15

The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced a reduction in the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene, effective from midnight.

NOC stated that the price of diesel and kerosene has been reduced by Rs 5 per litre, while petrol has been decreased by Rs 4 per litre.

In a press release issued today, NOC explained that the decision followed a revised price list received from the Indian Oil Corporation, reflecting the reduced rates.

With this adjustment, the price of petrol will be Rs 156 per litre in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadi, and Birgunj, while diesel and kerosene will each cost Rs 146 per litre.

In the Surkhet and Dang regions, petrol will be priced at Rs 158 per litre, with diesel and kerosene at Rs 148 per litre, according to NOC.

Similarly, in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal, the price of petrol will be Rs 159 per litre, and kerosene will be Rs 149 per litre.
