NRNA aids journo Budhathoki

Kathmandu, January 10:

Non-Resident Nepalis today presented economic journalist Gajendra Budhathoki a laptop and a cheque for Rs 4 lakh. Jugal Bhurtel, spokesperson for the NRN Association’s International Coordination Council handed the laptop and the cheque to Budhathoki, one of the active members of Society of Economic Journalists (Sejon).

During the occasion, Sejon president Kiran Nepal also handed more than Rs 1 million that was collected under the Gajendra Budhathoki Upachar Kosh to Budhathoki, who was injured in a motorcycle accident on September 24.

Nepal also thanked organisations and individuals for helping Budhathoki, who has dedicated his over decade-long career to economic journalism.

Sejon founder-president Prateek Pradhan lauded role of economic journalists. The economic journalist fraternity has joined hands for Budhathoki to help him recover.
