NT launches 4G service in Rara

KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom has launched its 4G service in Rara for the first time from Thursday.

Launched on the eve of the Visit Nepal Year 2020 tourism campaign, the 4G service in Rara will ensure additional facilities to visiting tourists in the region, as per NT. “We launched the 4G service in Rara (Mugu) after successful test transmission of the service in the region,” said NT.

Rara is one of the major tourist destinations in Nepal. NT has installed its 4G mobile tower at Hutu of Rara. As per NT, 4G in Rara has been started under 1,800 bandwidth and will ensure high-speed internet facility to people and tourists along the region. More than 60,000 tourists visit Rara annually.
