KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom (NT) has launched a series of offers to mark the Dashain, Tihar and Chhath festivals.

As per a press statement issued on Thursday, NT will be offering its GSM and CDMA (both post-paid and pre-paid) customers 100 MB data for Rs 50 and 250 MB data for Rs 100. The 100 MB data will be valid for five days and 250 MB data for 10 days.

The offer will be introduced in two phases — from October 1 to 15 and from October 28 to November 6. During this period, customers who have opted for 100 MB data will also be able to make free voice calls for 10 minutes and send 10 SMS free of cost, and customers who opt for 250 MB data will be allowed 25 minutes free voice calls and 25 free SMS. NT will also be introducing Night Data Offer for both GSM and CDMA serviced under which customers will be able to use 500 MB data for Rs 40 and 1200 MB data for Rs 85 from 10pm to 6am. The 500 MB pack will be valid for seven days and 1200 MB for 15 days. This offer will open from October 1 for a period of three months.

Nepal Telecom also will be providing 10 per cent discount on calls made within its network for both GSM and CDMA customers. As per this scheme, pre-paid customers will be able to make calls at Rs 1.35 per minute and post-paid customers will be able to make calls at 90 paisa a minute.
