Orientation for job scheme applicants

NEPALGUNJ: An orientation of applicants for the self-employment scheme has been organized in Nepalgunj. In the first phase of the orientation, 1,450 people are taking part.

A total of 9,749 people have applied for the scheme, according to Nepalgunj Chambers of Commerce and Industries chairman Rabi Devkota.

Applicants aged between 16 and 75 years from Banke, Bardiya, Dang, Surkhet, Salyan, Mugu and Dolpa have sought loans for mainly setting up agricultural, sewing/tailoring, tourism ventures and retail shops.
