PACT conducts nation-wide training for small and medium sub-projects

KATHMANDU: The Project for Agriculture Commercialisation and Trade (PACT) under the Ministry of Agricultural Development has concluded a month-long training campaign to the representatives of small and medium sub-projects in various places of the country.

As many as 586 representatives including managers and chiefs of 296 sub-projects being run with the PACT grants had participated in the training.

According to a press statement issued today, sessions related to grant management, work plan, commercial plan, value chain and environmental and social safeguards, finance and account management, infrastructure development, transparency, risk management, food safety management and insurance among others were held during the training.

"An interaction session was also conducted among the participants of the each training programme," read the statement.

The workshops were organised in various cities including Biratnagar, Rajbiraj, Janakpur, Kathmandu, Pokhara and Nepalgunj among others.

The participants were also handed over certificates for completion of the training.
