PACT holds grant agreements distribution function in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The Project for Agriculture Commercialisation and Trade (PACT) under the Ministry of Agricultural Development on Wednesday distributed grant agreements to grant recipients in Kathmandu.

A programme was held in the Capital to distribute the agreements to 50 small-scale and middle-scale sub-projects being operated under the fourth phase in the Central Development Region.

In the programme, agreements worth more than Rs 220 million were distributed to grantees from Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kavrepalanchok and Nuwakot. Addressing the programme, PACT sub-project monitoring committee chairman Yogendra Kumar Karki urged the grantees to complete the projects on time and to leave an impression in front of the World Bank.

PACT Director Govinda Prasad Sharma informed that similar programmes would be the held to distribute remaining grant agreements. He also expressed his commitment to lend a hand of support to the grantees.
