Pact to promote Indo-Nepal trade

Kathmandu, May 11:

In order to promote economic, trade and investment opportunities in Nepal and India, the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) and the All India Association of Industries (AIAI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) here. Binod Kumar Chaudhary, president of CNI and Vijay G Kalandri, president of AIAI signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations yesterday.

The agreement is aimed at promoting economy, trade and investment opportunities between the industrial and business community of both the countries, states a press release issued here today by CNI. The AIAI, a non-profit association, is headquartered in Mumbai. The AIAI is exclusively devoted to develop and promote the interest of Indian industries. It has over 1500 companies, firms, professionals and industries on its list.
