Pokhara fest kicks off

Pokhara, December 6:

A 10-day long National Industrial Fair-2064 kicked off in Pokhara today.

According to Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industries (PCCI) th-ere are 325 business stalls of different gifts items, handicrafts, vehicles, information centres, agricultural products, electric instruments and many others products. The organisers expect of Rs 120 million transaction and 0.2 million visitors during the festival. Speaker Subash Chandra Nembang inaugurated the festival.

Dipak Shrestha, PCCI’s president and sub-coordinator of the festival said that the fair has

various entertainment programmes.

The festival would begin at 10:00 am and end at 5:30 pm everyday. Arjun Narsingh KC, NC spokesman on the occasion, said that the government should be serious on providing security to industries from the attacks of different armed groups and criminal gangs.
