Private sector apprises PM of woes

Kathmandu, March 18:

Private sector representatives earlier today met Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ to apprise him of problems plaguing the industrial sector.

“We briefed him on the power crisis, insecurity, frequent bandhs and labour disputes,” said Nepal Chambers of Commerce (NCC) president Surendra Bir Malakar.

“The industrial sector is going reeling under load-shedding, unexpected bandhs and labour disputes apart from insecurity and donation terror,” he said adding that the Prime Minister assured them of taking up their problems in today’s cabinet meeting.

The team led by Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry president Kush Kumar Joshi and Confederation of Nepalese Industries president Binod Kumar Chaudhary along with Malakar and Ang Dendi Sherpa, Federation of Nepalese Cottage and Small Industry (FNCSI) president Ang Dendi Sherpa and representatives of other organisations.
