POKHARA: The provincial government of Province 4 has announced Rs 1.25 billion as its partial budget for the remaining two and a half months till current fiscal year end in July 15, 2018.

State Minister for Finance, Kiran Gurung presented the budget prepared with the grant provided by central government to the provincial assembly on Wednesday.

Minister Gurung informed that the provincial government has allocated Rs 540 million as capital expenditure while Rs 480 million has been allocated as recurrent expenditure.

The programmes of the budget have prioritised management of provincial structures, creation of investment friendly environment, poverty alleviation and development of tourism, energy, agriculture and industrial sector.

Speaking to the media personnel after announcement of partial budget, Minister Gurung remarked that the partial budget provided a glimpse of full fiscal year budget for the upcoming fiscal.
