RAMPUR: A branch office of the Rastriya Banijya Bank which was displaced during a decade-long Maoist insurgency has been re-established at Harthok in Palpa district.

The Nepal Rastra Bank Governor Dr Chiranjivi Nepal today inaugurated the branch office and urged the farmers to benefit from the loan as the financial institutions were providing the loan on five per cent interest rate to them as per the monetary policy.

The Governor further urged the youth rather involve in productive sector than going abroad for cheap labour.

With the re-establishment of the branch office, locals at Bhairavsthan, Khasyauli, Deurali, Bandipokhara, Palung, Mainadi among other VDCs of Palpa district including some locals of Gulmi and Arghakhanchi districts will be benefited.
