RBB mobile bill payment system soon

Kathmandu, January 9:

Rastriya Banijya Bank will soon start its mobile bill payment system. It has already initiated computerized systems in its 101 branch offices.

Today, RBB inaugurated its 12th ATM counter on the premises of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC). During the ATM counter’s inauguration ceremony, Krishna Hari Baskota, acting Revenue Secretary at Ministry of Finance said, “Banking sector has been successful in bridging the gap between people at different levels and is playing a significant role in the development of rural areas.” Baskota also praised RBB for its efforts to provide more quality service to its customers in near future.

RBB chief executive officer Janardhan Acharya RBB said, “The bank has distributed more than 20,000 ATM cards all over the country. It is has established itself as the highest card distributor. Though it was in a problematic situation, it is now transforming itself into a modern bank.”

NAC deputy manager Ganesh Thakur thanked RBB for its choice of NAC’s premises NAC for an ATM counter.

RBB has 11 ATMs: at Singh Durbar, Teku, Bir Hospital, Maharajgunj, Balaju, Baneshwor, Thamel, Lalitpur, Butwal, at Amarsingh Chowk (Pokhara), and at Dharma path.
