New Chevrolet Optra NY

KATHMANDU: Chevrolet has introduced new 1600cc and 1800cc ‘Chevrolet Optra NY’ edition in Nepal. The new look, more luxurious and more comfortable Optra NY edition has been conceptualised with focus on comfort, convenience, safety and luxury for its customers. The Optra has already been judged as best-looking sedan in its segment and with the new classic American grille its front-end styling conveys solidity and its true American character. It has additional feature of ‘most comfortable car image and all the changes are based on customer feedback, claims the company. Moreover now Optra comes with two years or 40,000 km warranty. Chevrolet will complement GM’s brand portfolio by offering superior value that would exceed expectations of the customers in terms of product performance, styling and quality. Chevrolet brand, in its 92 years of existence and supporting the legendary ‘bow tie’ logo, has been part of the automobile folklore across the globe. The NY edition has features like new American style grille, automatic climate control system, dual airbags for safety, unique total noise reduction system and electric sunroof as a window to the sky. Pulled by 1.6 liter, E-TEC, DOHC, 16 valves engine the Optra 1.6 generates the maximum torque of 148 at the rate of 3500 rpm.
