Samsung brings LED HDTV

KATHMANDU: Samsung today ushered in a new range of flat panel televisions in Nepal with its new, advanced line of LED High Definition TVs.

Announcing the launch of the Samsung LED TVs, Shekhar Golchha, managing director of Him Electronics Pvt Ltd, said Samsung remains committed to developing technology and products that go beyond current expectations of value, quality and innovation. “Our LED TVs redefine the standards for design, viewing experience and energy-efficiency in colour televisions,” he said adding that they are proud to be contributing to and leading this turning point in TV evolution, globally and in Nepal by introducing Samsung LED TVs in different markets all over the world.

Him Electronics announced the introduction of a series of LED TV — 6 and 7 in 32” and 40” screen sizes. “These cutting-edge TVs use LEDs as their primary light source, rather than traditional cold cathode fluorescent lamps (CCFL),” the company said. “Benefits of using LEDs include ultra-high contrast ratios and slim depths that allow for more artful designs.”

With major measures like Mega Picture Clarity, Razon slimness and eco-friendliness Samsung’s LED HDTVs can combine the recognised brightness advantage of LCD displays with cinema-like viewing experience.
