KATHMANDU: Kathmandu: Samsung Mobile has launched three models of CDMA phones in Nepal — W259, B619 and B309. Samsung CDMA is the first global CDMA brand to enter the market here.

W259 M DUO is a dual standby GSM+CDMA phone with 1.3 mega pixel camera, MPEG4/MP3 player with religious chants, FM, GPRS, Bluetooth, MicroSD slot up to 8 GB and a 1GB memory card comes free with it. B619 -Bright Cam is a colour phone with camera and FM and comes with a free data cable. B309-Bright Cam is also a colour phone with internal memory of 1000 contacts.

All three phones have

one-year warranty and six months of battery warranty with aftersales service at Samsung Mobile’s high tech service centre. These phones are sold through Samsung Mobile’s authorised dealer IMS Tele Trade which covers around 600 retail shops all over Nepal.

On the purchase of any of these phones, consumers will get free goodies worth Rs 2,065 consisting of UTL’s U-SIM worth Rs 565 and free talk time worth Rs 1,500.

Chana 1000cc

KATHMANDU: AM International has launched Changan Motors’ latest model — the Chana 1000cc — along with a revamped model of the 800cc single cab pick-up.

Changan Motors is a well known automobile company with a history of 143 years. Being a company established with the assistance of Suzuki Motors, all the parts are built according to Suzuki’s technology. AM International is an authorized dealer of Changan Motors’ pick-ups, city cargo carriers, delivery vans, passenger vans and cars.

Chana 1000cc model has a four-cylinder engine manufactured with Suzuki technology and is priced at Rs 10.6 lakh. This pick-up’s engine is durable, gives better mileage, is manufactured according to Euro standards. It being a petrol engine, the maintenance cost is less also. Thus, these vehicles are especially suited for the Nepali roads.

AM International provides all the aftersales facilities like servicing and spare parts under a single roof along with a soon-to-be-established mobile service. The company gives a one-year or 12000 km warranty. It has showrooms in Pokhara and Narayanghat aside from Kathmandu.
