AI-powered smartphone brings premium features to mid-range segment

Samsung has launched the Galaxy A17 5G in Nepal, introducing advanced AI-driven features at competitive prices.
The smartphone is available in three variants: Rs. 34,999 (8/256GB), Rs. 30,999 (8/128GB), and Rs. 28,999 (6/128GB).
Equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, the device offers a sleek design, a 50MP OIS main camera, ultra-wide and macro lenses, and enhanced usability powered by AI tools such as Gemini integration, Gemini Live, and Circle to Search.
According to Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, Director, MX Business Samsung Nepal, the Galaxy A17 5G "brings the power of AI into the hands of more consumers," offering premium innovation in the mid-range market.
The phone also boasts Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, IP54 resistance, and six years of OS and security updates.
