KATHMANDU: Sanima Bank is going to launch chip-based Visa NPR debit, credit and USD debit/travel card from December 1.

The new chip-based Visa card provides more security to customers while using their card in ATM and POS terminals, as per a press release. With advanced security feature, customers can use their cards with absolute peace of mind. Unlike traditional cards, chip cards create a unique transaction code every time during transactions which will protect cards from fraudulent use. The bank also plans to issue USD credit cards soon.
