KATHMANDU: Saptakoshi Development Bank Ltd (SDBL) and Smartchoice Technologies (SCT) have signed an agreement whereby Saptakoshi Bank will be utilising SCT’s card services.

The bank said in a statement that the agreement was signed so as to comply with the central bank’s vision to encourage the use of digital transactions and reduce the use of currency notes. SDBL has its head office in Dhankuta and corporate office in Biratnagar.

It has been providing banking services through branches located in seven districts in Province 1.
