Syakar Company Ltd (SCL), the authorised distributor of Philips Consumer Electronics, has opened its new showroom at Joyti Bhawan in Kantipath today. SCL has been the authorised distributor for Philips Consumer Electronics products in Nepal since 1982 and has been marketing through the network of over 40 dealers throughout the country.

This new showroom is introduced in South Asian continent for the first time and Philips will extend the similar showrooms in other South Asian countries,” said Saurav Jyoti, managing director of SCL, “We are also planning to open another showroom at Blue Bird complex within a month.” The showroom has a wide range of LCD and plasma television with price ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 800,000. The new audio products and recordable DVD players are also available in verities of models and prices which ranges from Rs 3,500 to Rs 40,000.

Infortainment products like portable digital camera and wearable MP3 with 128 MB capacity are also some of the attractions at the new showroom. It has also introduced consumer finance scheme.
