SEBON’s instruction

KATHMANDU: The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) — the capital market regulator of the country — has directed concerned parties to submit their compliance report.

Issuing a circular on Tuesday, the market regulator has directed Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse), broker firms, CDS and Clearing Ltd and merchant bankers to submit their compliance reports to SEBON.

“To strengthen corporate governance and implement rules and regulations properly, concerned parties should submit the half-yearly compliance report approved by the auditor to SEBON,” said Niraj Giri, spokesperson for SEBON.
