Security force for biz sector must, says FNCCI

Kathmandu, August 9:

The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has urged the government to form an industrial security force at the earliest possible.

Due to the increased industrial insecurity because of regular threats and pressure groups, the environment for running industries is getting worse by the day, states a press release issued here today by the umbrella organisation of the Nepali private sector.

Speaking at the programme organised by FNCCI and Kathmandu School of Management, FNCCI president Kush Kumar Joshi said, “Industrial groups here are bearing huge losses only due to insecurity. So, unless an industrial security force is granted to us we cannot successfully trade or do business in this environment.”
