Shah appointed chief executive of Nabil

KATHMANDU: The board of Nabil Bank in its 488th meeting held on June 21 appointed Anil Keshary Shah as the chief executive officer of the bank.

Shah started his career in 1991 at Nepal Grindlays Bank, now Standard Chartered Bank Nepal, at the assistant level and in a career spanning 13 years became the chief operating officer and head of consumer banking.

He then moved to Nabil Bank as general manager and became the bank’s first Nepali chief executive officer, working for six years with the bank.

Following this, Shah moved to establish Mega Bank Nepal and completed two tenures of eight years before returning to Nabil Bank.
