Shangri-La becomes five-star hotel

Shangri-La Hotel, a 4-star hotel, following the completion of its 25 years of operations, has been promoted to 5-star category due to its quality services, it is announced during a special function organised on the occasion of the silver jubilee celebration of the hotel. Prasiddha Pandey, MD of Shangri-La Group, on the occasion, said, “during the long journey of 25 years, tourism has grown.” Prabin Pandey, president of PATA Nepal Chapter, said that due to quality service and its continuation, Shangri-La has got the recognition of the five-star hotel. In Kathmandu alone, there are altogether six five star hotels at present. “Shangri-La’s contribution in tourism sector is incomparable,” he said.
