KATHMANDU: A total of 4.5 million shares worth Rs 1.96 billion were traded in the share market this week.

According to Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the transaction was 15.4 per cent higher than this week than the previous week.

Last week, 4.2 billion shares worth Rs 1.7 billion were traded.

Likewise, the NEPSE Index was decreased by 28.74 points to 1345.99 at the weekend.
