KATHMANDU: The panel of Shekhar Golchha on Tuesday officially announced their candidacy for various posts at the upcoming election of the executive committee of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) scheduled on April 10 and 11.

Amid a candidacy declaration event organised by the Golchha-led panel, current Vice-president of FNCCI, Golchha announced his candidacy for the post of senior vice-president of the organisation expressing his commitment to bridge the voice of the private sector and the government and work for the betterment of business environment in the country. From Golchha’s panel, industrialist Dinesh Shrestha announced his candidacy for FNCCI vice-president post from district and municipal chapter.

Similarly, industrialists Umesh Lal Shrestha and Chandra Dhakal revealed their candidacy for FNCCI vice-president posts from commodity and associates, respectively. However, Dhakal is certain to become the vice-president (associates) as there are no other candidates vying for the post.

Similarly, the Golchha panel has picked Gyanendra Lal Pradhan as the contender for the post of treasurer in the next executive committee of FNCCI.
