KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 3

Shree Airlines will commence services between Kathmandu and Bharatpur starting tomorrow.

The airline will operate an 80-seat Q400-8 aircraft, with chartered flights beginning Friday, and regular flights from October 9. Two daily flights will be available thereafter.

Corporate Director Anil Manandhar shared that, due to the short runway at Bharatpur Airport, the aircraft will carry only 50 to 60 passengers. The one-way fare has been set at Rs 4,500.

Currently, Buddha Air operates nine daily flights on the same route.
