Kathmandu, June 16:

Skyland Savings and Loan Cooperative Ltd has started its operation from yesterday.

The cooperative — based at Bira Complex, New Road — has been opened in an initiative of experts involved in the field of housing, banking, construction and engineering, stated a press release issued here by the company yesterday.

The cooperative has Rs 20 million paid up capital and aims to invest in planned housing sector, the press note stated.
