Explaining the change, a press release issued here today by the company claims it is a simply progression in the life of the brand. “Surya trademark has firmly ensconced itself as a brand with international stature and class,” states the release. The repositioning sees the rise of a new Sun mnemonic replacing the now familiar half sun that has been associated with Surya for ages.
