Kathmandu, April 17

Syakar Trading Company, the sole authorised distributor of Honda motorcycles and scooters for Nepal, has launched the fast and stylish Hornet 160R motorcycle in Nepali market.

The bike was launched in an event at Royal Beach Camp, Kurintar, amidst media invitees and delegates from Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India.

The Honda CB Hornet 160R is a motorcycle derived from the Honda Hornet; a naked street sports bike, in which one can enjoy riding with optimum speed and comfort. With the addition of Honda Eco Technology (HET), the Hornet is a motorcycle that ensures fun riding with ease and comfort.

It is a premium motorcycle which has a modern touch and comes with top of class technology. This stylish motorcycle is specially designed for the youth and is a great performer.

Features like sharp and edgy headlight with upward facing side indicators, new generation X- shaped LED light, dynamic tank masked with carbon pattern tank cover with Honda’s wing symbol over it and fully digital meter display boosts the look of the motorcycle. Further it has 140 mm rear tyre that

increases its stability and the uniquely crafted five-spoke split alloy wheels that is new to the Honda line-up.

Hornet 160R has a powerful 163cc engine that gives extra thrust and delivers good low end torque. The single cylinder engine develops 15.66 bhp at 8500 rpm of maximum power and 14.76 NM at 6500 rpm of maximum torque. Besides, engine is equipped with a counter balance to reduce vibrations produced. Powered by a revolutionary technology, the long stroke engine is tuned to deliver extra torque and super mileage. The mileage of the motorcycle is 60 kmpl and top speed is 110 kmph. The suspension at front is telescopic whereas rear has a monoshock suspension.

It is available in five shades of Pearl Night Star Black, Pearl Siren Blue, Neo Orange Metallic, Sports Red and Pearl Amazing White.
