Thike not sure when NT services will get thik

KATHMANDU: It's now more than three weeks that Nepal Telecom (NT) users are having problems with the balance transfer system aside from disturbance in the recharge process. According to NT spokesperson Surendra Bahadur Thike, the company is going on with its system upgrading.

Thike said NT is trying to initiate a new system that will work more effectively in the value-added services. The balance transfer system is still undergoing maintenance and even NT is not sure how long it will take. However, Thike said that as soon as the new system starts working smoothly NT will resume its balance transfer system. About disturbances in recharge process, Thike said that with the new system's successful installation problems faced by NT users will be resolved.

It is more than a year that NT brought the security system in its balance transfer service. The balance transfer system comes under USSB technology. Due to misuse of the balance transfer system under USSB technology, NT has included security codes for transferring balance.
