KATHMANDU: Toastmaster Daniel Rex, chief executive officer of Toastmasters International (TI), attended the 19th meeting of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Toastmasters Club on Wednesday.

Toastmaster Rex is on a two-day official visit to Nepal, as per a press statement. During the bank’s Toastmasters Club meeting, he handed over a certificate from the Toastmasters Internationals to Joseph Silvanus, CEO of the bank, in commemoration of the first anniversary of the club.

Toastmaster Rex appreciated the efforts of the bank in establishing a club within and explained how employees of the bank can benefit by attending and participating in Toastmasters meetings.

He further mentioned that the bank employees can apply the leadership and communication skills learnt through these platforms in enhancing their career path. SCB CEO Silvanus encouraged member employees to make the most out of the Toastmasters platform provided by the bank.
