Mahindra Electric Mobility Ltd, part of the Mahindra Group, has launched a lithium-ionpowered electric three-wheeler auto called Treo in Nepal.

The Mahindra Treo Auto 'Soft Top' variant has been introduced at the price of Rs 840,000, ex-showroom. The Mahindra Treo comes to Nepal through the completely build unit (CBU) form. The vehicle is being manufactured at Mahindra's Bangalore facility in India.

Bookings for the ready to deliver Treo autos have started in select areas of southern Nepal's Tarai region. Agni Energy, Mahindra's authorised EV distributor, will sell the Treo in Nepal.
