The whole team will be guided by Sacred Summit, who is organising the tour that will ascend up to 5200m and cover a total of 1,100 kms to the Everest base camp from the Chinese side in Tibet. This is the first time in the history of Nepal that bikes of 150cc category will be ridden at such high altitudes and on a route that is used for a limited period in a year, said MAW, the authorised dealer of Yamaha in Nepal. Till date only 4x4 wheel drive SUVs have travelled on this road. “We believe that Yamaha FZ — declared a true bike — can travel in any climatic condition and on any road. The tour will start on July 18.

If the winners cannot take part in the trip due to health reasons, three alternative — Bal Ram Sibanjara of Bhakatpur, Karma Maharjan of Patan and Deepal Prasad Lamichhane of Nagarkot — will be given the chance.
