Un rep assures NCC
KATHMANDU: In a meeting with representatives of Nepal Chambers of Commerce (NCC), Gyan Chandra Acharya, permanent representative of UN, assured of effective lobbying for the development of the country’s economy. Acharya said, “In the
fourth meeting of least developed countries (LDCs) in 2011, discussion will be held regarding development of the private sector.” NCC president Surendra Bir Malakar spoke about the climatic change and its effect on Nepal. He urged for special concern in this aspect and sought support for the economic development of the private sector.
