Urge to focus on research

Kathmandu, September 18:

Prof Dr Niren Vyas, Professor at the Emeritus University of South Carolina Aiken, has stressed the need to focus on marketing and pursuing hybrid operating modules to succeed in business

and survive in the long run. Prof Vyas, while speaking at an interaction programme organised by Apex College recently, highlighted the need to improve infrastructure, roads, communications, transportation, and develop tourist information to uplift the downturn tourism industry and make it competitive. “Similarly, a research needs to be carried out to understand the downward trend in pashmina industry. In this case, Nepal should clearly identify the competitors, buyers and the reasons why they stopped buying,” he suggested.
