Vegetable farming
BAGLUNG: A school here has started commercial vegetable farming to collect funds for running computer classes in the school. Parbati Secondary School, situated in Harichaur VDC, has started commercial vegetable farming on three ropanis of land taken on lease. According to the school, income from the farming will be spent on the maintenance of computers. From this academic session, the school has made computer education compulsory from class VI. The school pays Rs 4,500 per year for using the land, said principal Harka Bahadur Pandey. Some 122 students are into vegetable farming in their leisure time. Teachers also assist them.
