Kathmandu, April 22:

CG Foods (Nepal) Pvt Ltd has brought its flagship product Wai Wai instant noodle with Vitamin A micronutrient.

“Along with extra protein and calcium, Wai Wai is now fortified with Vitamin A,” states

a press release issued here by the company today.

Every flavoured oil packet inside all Wai Wai, Wai Wai Quick and Wai Wai Tenz contains 50 IU Vitamin A per gram of oil, which totals to approximately 150-200 IU Vitamin A per packet.

Considering Vitamin A as one of the main micronutrients that helps a child to improve his or her immune system, CG Foods has this initiative to fortify Vitamin A in its flagship product, adds the release.

The company expects that it will assist the child in maintaining good eyesight and aids in all round mental and physical development.
