Workers’ workshop

Kathmandu, October 18:

A four-day workshop on ‘Workers’ health and security at workplace’, jointly organised by Nepal Trade Union Congress-Independent and Japan International Labour Foundation, kicked off here on Saturday.

Inaugurating the workshop, Nepali Congress vice-president Prakash Man Singh said the new constitution would have enough provisions for workers’ rights and interests and his party was aware of trade union rights. Around 30 workers from different parts of the country are taking part in the workshop, union vice-president Ramjee Kunwar said.
